Evaluation

The Consortium will establish an Evaluation Committee, made up of five members, one for each Full Partner institution. Each member will evaluate each application firstly by themselves, through the MathMods online database, and then during one meeting (at least) along with all the other members of the Committee.

Evaluation Procedure

The Evaluation Committee will meet two times at least:

  • From 2 May 2019 the committee will evaluate the applications submitted by 30 April 2019. An absolute ranking list will be drawn up by the end of May 2019.
    Selected students will receive notification in order to let them apply for visas. Students will have to send confirmation of acceptance within 5 days from notification.
  • On 16 August 2019 the Committee will examine the (pre)enrolled students again only to remove from the list the students who will not have certified the accomplishment of their Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent).

Selection criteria

The selection is based on the following criteria:

  • CV, academic records and quality/recognition of the home institution having awarded the applicant's first-level degree: [60 points],
  • Level of English skills: [15 points],
  • Professional experience, awards of honour with regard to age: [15 points],
  • Motivation [5 points],
  • Recommendations [5 points].

The minimum pass score for eligibility is 66.

In case of equal score reached by two candidates, the Committee agrees to try and maintain gender balance.
