Applications for the IP 2010 are open

Applications for the Mathmods IP 2010 are open! CLICK HERE TO APPLY.

The students who want to participate have to register and provide some information about themselves. At this stage no uploads will be required. We shall ask them to provide a copy of their ID or Passport and a copy of the e-ticket once their application is accepted.

Every Friday evening we shall collect the register students and submit their data to the corresponding local coordinator at the partner institutions, who will eventually confirm that the applicants are well prepared and motivated to attend the programme. This process will continue up to completion of the 20 available places.

Applications re-opened

The Department of Pure and Applied Mathematics of the University of L'Aquila is pleased to announce that the IP 2009 will be held from September 7 to 19, 2009 at Hotel Sporting in Alba Adriatica (Italy).

The decision to hold the IP in a different place from L'Aquila has been made because in September the city and the university will still be under repair. The new location - which is at about 100 km from L'Aquila - is one of the best seaside resorts of the Abruzzi region. Because of the high quality standard of its beaches, Alba Adriatica has been nicknamed Spiaggia d'argento (Silver Beach).

The general planning of activities will not undergo any substantial changes. Click here to see the list of speakers (all confirmed!).

Applications have been re-opened. The deadline is June 30, 2009. Students who had applied before the earthquake are kindly asked to log in again and either confirm or withdraw their application.

IP Postponement

Due to the terrible earthquake that has recently struck L'Aquila, the IP 2009 has been postponed to a date to be arranged in the following weeks. As a consequence, the application form has been closed too. Further information will be available on this page soon.
