Aureli Alabert is a researcher specialised in Probability Theory and Stochastic Processes. He has worked in the Stochastic Analysis team in his department, and he is currently leading the Research Group in Mathematical Models and Applications. In addition to Stochastic Processes at the postgraduate level, he has taught several courses in Operations Research (both deterministic and stochastic models) and in Statistics. He is the current director of the Mathematical Consulting Service of the UAB, an entity devoted to technology transfer to industry, and has also worked directly in several contracts with the industry. He is a member of the Educational Committee of ECMI (European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry), and vicepresident of math-in (Spanish Network Mathematics-Industry). |
