Selection list 2017
Date 2017-03-02 - File size 120.67 KB

  • All the applicants in the main list (students being awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship) are going to receive an email on the next couple of days with detailed instructions on what to do to confirm their position.
  • The European Agency (EACEA) may also award additional scholarships to applicants from specific regions of the world (aka "geographical windows"). According to the EACEA rules, the maximum number of such scholarships for the MathMods MSc is 14. That is why some applicants will find in the list an additional sub-ranking relative to each set geographical window. We hope we will receive a scholarship per each geographical window (and two for Iran). However, this cannot be said now: such additional scholarships will indeed be assigned to the MathMods consortium by the end of April only in case of budget availability (and even more than one scholarship per window might be granted to the same programme).
  • All the applicants in the reserve list (waiting list) are obviously eligible for our MSc programme. They may join our programme as self-funding students (more details will be emailed soon) and even be awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship if their ranking is relatively high and any of the applicants above them should reject our scholarship. Further information about this, as well as details about the possibility to benefit from reduction of the tuition fees and additional grants, will be emailed on the next days.
  • If your ID number is not in the list, unfortunately this means that you are in the non-selected list. This doesn't necessarily mean that your application was not good enough (by the way, we have received around 1040 applications!), but that it was given a ranking lower than the one given to other applicants before you in the list. In actual fact, the European Agency (EACEA) only allows us to have a relatively limited number of eligible students in the reserve list, mainly because of the fact that the number of scholarships is quite limited and it would be no use to have such a long waiting list.

What if I can't recall my ID number?

Your ID no. can be found:

  • in your online profile
  • in your registration email
  • in your confirmation email

If you don't even remember your login and password, visit the page of the application form. You'll find a link that says "Forgot login?"

End-of-Year Dinner 2016

Friday, 23 December 2016 12:33

A couple of photos from the end-of-year dinner we threw last Wednesday (December 21, 2016) for all our international students from both the MathMods & the InterMaths programmes.

Many thanks to our special guest, Prof. Paola Inverardi, rector of the University of L'Aquila, who honoured us with her presence!

Happy Holidays, everyone!

A small orchestra presented a lovely mini-concert in our classroom (in Coppito1, L'Aquila) this morning. The event was part of a series of mini-concerts organized by Prof. Fusillo (University of L'Aquila) and Orazio Tuccella (Officina Musicale), and delivered during a few selected quarto d'ora accademico, which is the Italian way to refer to a break we usually have in between classes.

The Skyron Flute Ensemble quartet performed for us today:

  • "Tempesta di mare" by A. Vivaldi
  •  "Pavane" by G. Fauré

Our thanks to Prof. Di Francesco for having our class included in this event!

Visit our Facebook page to see a few videos recorded by our students.
